CPU: AMD64 3200+
Video: BFG 6800 OC
Memory: Corsair Value Select DDR400
Power Supply: 400W

We overclocked cpu to 2.4GHz and left memory at 400MHz. System boots into windows and runs prime95 overnight and HL2 endlessly. If system is left off for long period of time (days), on boot the Bios asks user to:
F1 to continue
Press 'Del' to enter setup

If we press F1, system reboots at default speeds. If we go into setup and exit without saving, we boot at the overclocked settings. WTF?

anyway, any ideas?

Its a brand new mobo, but yea, we'll replace it as soon as possible. the thing that leads me to think its not the battery is that the OC settings are saved, they just aren't kept unless we go to BIOS and exit (no changes necessary).

I dont have that mobo so its a wild guess but it sounds to me like you have a backup BIOS that checks at startup and if it doesn't match it alerts you thusly.

Try checking at hardocp.com they might have an answer that involves soemone who has touched the board:)
