I bet it would take some time to get the engine to run well... balance and fit is very important with sterling engines.

Well it's up and running, not the fastest,smoothest running engine I ever built but it does run 🙂

Tried running on a hot cup of coffee, still too inefficiant from excessive friction but she cranks when fired from a can of sterno.

Thinking about machining a real one from aluminum bar stock and using real bearings.
