$1.39 regular unleaded, (Motomart, Citgo, etc) near St. Louis MO (Illinois side). It's dropped about 2 cents a day from $1.65 about 10 days ago...

yeah, but aren't those constant irregardless of the gas price per gallon?
Yes, the tax/gallon is probably the same regardless of the $ value of a gallon of gas.
The differences in State Tax though, are quite revealing.

Dude, which Shell station? North Main almost in concord or North Main further towards downtown? Just curious, I usually go to the Shell or the Chevron across the street from it.
 
1.23 this morning, that gas station one day lasy week went from 1.18 to 1.28 overnight, but has since came back down 5 cents.
