I used to have a blue merle GREAT DANE. INSIDE. Yep. he was an inside dog. That's like having another resident int he house. 180 lbs. of full-blown DOG MUSCLE. That was the coolest pet ever. I hope to get another someday.

Two cats, sisters. One is calico [Whiskers] and the other all black with a white 'happy trail' and double paws in front [Cleopatra]. Whiskers is dumb as a doornail and will eat anything but her food. But she is VERY cudly. Cleopatra is stuck up. Makes you go to her to pet her. Beautiful though, face like a Siameese(sp?).
And how can I forget my fish. I have a 17" porthole knife, 6" feeder guppy that could, 4" bala shark, 4" pink gourami, 2 marble gourami's, a 4" silver dollar, african butterfly fish, and a chubby purple parrot. And a 5" pleco named mud.

<< The good thing about herps is that you don't feel so bad when they die, you just get a new one >>

I'd still feel horrible - I felt bad when my Goldfish died.

I really want to get a little gecko. But I figure I'd just end up killing it somehow, so I'm very hesitant about getting reptiles.

I was just being funny... of course i feel bad when my little pets go to that basking light in the sky. Chameleons and other herps are easy to take care of as long as you know what you're doing. They are definately not a pick 'em up and give them a kiss and a cuddle type of pets. The only lizard i know that you could do that with is a real tame iguana (rare) or a bearded dragon (native to australia). I'm getting another chameleon as soon as i move to my new apartment and i will free roam one of them (they are strictly territorial and will stay in the same tree for their whole life. They will wander around but they don't go to far.

I have two pets.

One Border Collie male named Grendyl He actually goes to sheep herding classes and stuff. He's pretty good at it so he gets paid $500 bucks to stud puppies who then work at sheepherding and such.

One Calico cat female named Nosie She's the laid back one.
