Odd, I use it all the time too, which is why I mapped it to the top of the accessories folder in my start menu.

To access calc I do <Ctrl>-<Esc> (Or windows key, but I never got used to using the windows key) then P then <ENTER> twice

My last few entries in run read:
perfmon
cmd
regedit
dxdiag
