I guess I'm the only one who's going to admit it but I shave my chest....everyday too.

I worked hard for my six-pack I'll be damned if hair is gonna hide it.

Oh and I'm NOT GAY

I'm not knocking it. If i had a decent body, i'd do the same thing. But shaved chests on fat boys look kinda weird...i'll wait until i become buff. :D

<-- I'd shave my chest hair if I had any but I don't. I shave the hair on my stomach, arms, legs, and trim under the arms and *other* places.

To give the impression some things are bigger than they really are?

LOL...why am i not surprised at that response. He probably does it because most girls don't like chocking on long pubic hairs.

That's assuming he can have his way with most girls.

Hahaha. Weren't you the one complaining about Iranians shedding pubic hair in jaccuzzis?? You should be happy that some guys take care of that. ;)

i would shave my chest hair ONLY if they don't grow back so fast and furious.

at first (3 years ago at age 18) I realized i have some, then after the first shave, they grew back within 1 week and grew some more!! its now spreading like wild fire.

i would shave if I know I will be going to a public beach where I will have to be top-naked.

I used to shave my chest, just because the girl I was dating liked it better that way. When we broke up, I stopped shaving my chest. It makes little difference to me. If the girl I'm with likes it shaved, I'll shave. No big deal. :p

no...it just grows back thicker. And be honest with yourself, you're not gonna shave your chest every day for the rest of your life. So if you continue to shave up till that day you stop...you'll end up as an old man with a forest of gray hair. Not a pleasant thought :disgust:

Hair doesn't grow back thicker. Not for men, not for women. It's been scientifically stated before but the only proof I can offer you is that, when you shave, you're cutting off an already dead piece that's extended out of the folicle.... just like getting a hair-cut.

so how does it get thicker then?

Nature, genes, hormones, age... it's a hair and it grows at the diameter nature determines.

chefjoe:

I don't know about the real fact and am speaking from personal experience,
my chest and leg hair grew back even more noticably. I felt it and my parents and sister told me too as they warned me when I first shave them.

Because wfbberzerker, in his infinite 14 year old wisdom, seems to think women grow tuffs of hair on their chest as they get older as men do.

But we all know that's only European women.

;)
