OJ vs. Jacko: Which verdict did you find MORE disgusting?

I don't know, they were both equally disturbing. I was in high school for OJ's verdict - they had the tv on and you could see all the people celebrating in the street...I felt pretty disgusted. Now I am at work, and all I heard was teh live feed from the courtroom...

All rich people get off easy, this isn't a racial thing...
I hate when people compare MJ to OJ...just because they are black?...

Because they are both celebrities? Because both trials were in southern California? Because they had access to some of the same lawyers? Because both cases involved botched police raids/evidence?

if the jury found him not guilty, imo, he's not guilty.

I don't find either verdict particularly disturbing.

ps
neither oj or mj are black
afluen african americans
but not black

More disgusting, Huh? I thought it was clear that Michael Jackson didn't do anything wrong and the prosecution's case was weak. Now OJ, on the other hand, he's guilty as sin.

of course not, but they sure as hell should have nailed him for feeding the kid booze. wtf?

I should probaly stay out of it though as I have read only about that part of the trial.

Best wishes to MJ if he is not guilty as found...if he is then I am not surprised.

No they are rich, the most dangerous and held unaccountable minority we have here.
The rich are accountable, and they get charged, it's just that all laws haw loopholes as our justice system favours the guilty.

I have no problem with this as the likelihood of reoffending (especially the rich under scrutiney of the public eye) is extremely low. Also, I'd rather 10 guilty people on the streets with no intent of reoffending than an innocent person in our prison system. 😛

it's hard to call. no one but jackson and that boy will ever really know what happened in this case. and with OJ, they were successful in turning the whole thing into a circus so that no one could ever know what happened.

For all the MJ haters out there, take satisfaction in the fact he's pretty much bankrupt, has the worst reputation of most celebrities and intends to take all his resources out of the country after all this. That's pretty much as bad as being guilty...😛

I am just glad all that crap is over....now what distraction will they have next?

surely not the DSM...

my prediciton: a rich white girl will get kidnapped from Michael Jackson's house. this mega story will dominate the headlines for the next 3 years, overshadowing the 2006 elections and North Korea dropping a nuclear bomb on South Korea.

Circumstansial at best. The fingerprints on the dirty magazines. C'mon.

I seriously think OJ was a casualty of the US gov't trying to prove they are not trying to take down the black man...
They let the guy walk for the better perception of the large black minority, but let him have it in the civil suit, what was that sucker worth again?

Edit: $8.5million!

While Bush declares martial law, and revokes all driver's liscenses in the US. But we won't notice, as we'll be worried about some poor little rich girl who probably has a terrible eating disorder to boot.

I don't find the MJ case disgusting at all. Sure they guy is weird, but the people accusing him of the crime are nothing but petty con artists. The entire trial was a circus, and am in shock that it took 13 weeks to come the decision that should have been reached from day 1.
