It's actually pretty informative. I skipped about 20 mins in the beginning as it was moving so slow, and watched the mid 1/3 or so, but the that part moved along with a good deal of info on OJ's son. His son was manic depressive, had a drug and alcohol addiction, and was a sous-chef (and carried his own knives with him).
The motive was that Nicole had canceled some diner party at Jason's restaurant for that night (was supposed to be the first time her/his whole family came to his place of work) and he could have lost it since he was off his prescription drugs.
He has a colorful past consisting of many physical attacks, with a knife at least once, and was in and out of mental institutions.
Some interesting bits include the fact that the LAPD wrote him off as a suspect because he was "cooking in front of 200 people that night". A waiter at the restaurant told the investigator in this piece that they never have 200 people on a Sunday, and he remembers Jason leaving at 9:30pm with his girlfriend, as was the norm on a Sunday.
Jason was never interviewed by LAPD for the criminal trial, and his girlfriend told LAPD that they drove to her house that night and Jason stayed there all night. Fast forward to the civil trial, Jason is deposed, and he tells the lawyers that he dropped her off that night and then drove to his house and stayed in watching TV all night.
Those are the juicy bits. Basically the investigator/narrator is saying the LAPD are a bunch of fuck ups, which we all knew already.
