I'm betting it'll either be excellent, or a crime against taste buds.

Well it would have been better cold but I boiled some water and threw in some peppermint teabags and then tried it. I can tell that the two flavors compliment each other very well (bourbon taste comes first then the tea) but it needs to be cold I believe. It depends on how much you like mint tea also. It's definitely better than OJ & bourbon though.

On the bright side, after a couple of bourbon+teas, you can move to bourbon+ice.

I couldn't let you drink alone, so it's Zombie night over here. (No bourbon, but rum abounds!)

Why not just chase it with the OJ, if you can't handle it straight up?

Beam is some pretty nasty stuff bourbon wise. It's basically neutral spirits and just barely passes bourbon classification (if it does at all?)

You don't drink beam straight...it's a mixer/well.

I can only afford to drink well stuff now... although I think I'd pick Evan Williams over Beam.

Old Grand Dad is a relatively respectable, cheap bourbon (though I go for Woodford Reserve or Wild Turkey Rare Breed).

Ick. Boubon + OJ = nasty, but I admire your spirit of adventure! Probably wouldn't be good with milk either.

A friend served me bourbon and sweet tea, over ice, and it is alarmingly tasty. Bonus if you have a little mint (extract will do)

sounds like a true southern drink. Maybe that's what the crap was invented for.... to hide your booze

(Personally, I like bourbon whiskey over sour mash whiskey, but if you want something totaly smooth to mix, use a sour mash like Jack Daniels.)
