It depends what role, if any, speculators are playing in the price.

It does? Not in my town. Unless of course you aren't counting taxes.

He posted that in May. Milk is cheaper here..not sure if it was then, though.

You must be from a non-dairy producing state, because around here milk is cheaper than gas, and MO has about the cheapest gas in the us.

As as employee for a major Oil & Gas company in Calgary, AB who receives generous stock options, I couldn't be happier.

In the month or two before the election I predict it will drop a decent bit (say 25%) and then start to climb back after no matter who wins.

Because destroying the global economy and sucking wealth from every person on the planet and concentrating it into you and the Arabs, is really what you should be happy about.

Sometimes I think humans are doomed. I work in i-banking and I think this current situation is utterly ridiculous.

I don't know. I can't predict the future, unlike some oil analysts who seem to know what the exact price will be on a specific day.

Why do we care about the price of oil? The price of gasoline is never coming back down; US oil companies will just post record profits again :p Imagine that, $70/barrel of oil and $4.00 per gallon of gasoline. What CEO wouldn't want that?

Ever buy heating oil? $4.82/gallon now - I hope this winter isn't too cold.

Water-fuel car unveiled in Japan

Japanese company Genepax presents its eco-friendly car that runs on nothing but water.

The car has an energy generator that extracts hydrogen from water that is poured into the car's tank.

The generator then releases electrons that produce electric power to run the car.

Genepax, the company that invented the technology, aims to collaborate with Japanese manufacturers to mass produce it.

Cool, I'll pre-order one now so when my grandkids are old enough to drive it might be ready for widescale production.

That will not work Dave, It takes more energy to split H and O from H20 then you get when it is combined back together. Unfortunately, that is a gimmick that has been around for a long time.

That's been said many times but supposedly this method produces excess energy because there is more energy produced from the hydrogen than used.
