no point in asking if your picking and choosing opinions you only want to believe. my suggestion, go work for them, then make up your own opinion on what may or maynot be in there stuff.. if your not a redneck tho i think your choice afterward won't even have anything to do with whats in there stuff. I personally would rather give a few more dollars to a company that i trust and that does not treat there employees and customers like mentally disabled kindergardeners.
...any GM engine is going to stress the oil more, efficency = less stress, and V6 will obviously stress it more than a 4cylinder.
walmart stuff is often 'watered down' as someone already pointed out. May not be diff than the stuff at Advanced. but walmart stuff is more likely than not to be different than what your getting at Nu-way or Napa, or any local reputable parts store in your area.
...you could of saved the money from testing your oil and put the money toward real oil, would be cheaper aswell
EDIT: sorry nothing personal, I also just find it very very very ironic.. running cheap oil in a new car.
