An active shooter has been reported on the Ohio State University campus, according to the university's Department of Public Safety website.

People are urged to shelter in place and avoid the area.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone has been injured.
Sophomore Wyatt Crosher said he heard gunfire that he believes came from a class building across the street.

"My roommate and I heard about three or four gunshots from across the street, and soon after we heard a bunch of police and ambulances pull up across the street," the 19-year-old said.
"We can't see the building where the shooting happened because of a dorm blocking our view. It truly sounded like gunshots, and really soon after we heard a bunch of sirens. We can see the police cars from our dorm."

Not good, hopefully no fatalities and they get the person who is shooting.

Now it is saying one attacker, no gun. Apparently he used a knife. Still no deaths, which is a good thing.

Apparently he also used a car and hit some folks. Now saying 10 injured, one critical.

How do you think that happened?
Shots were definitely fired on that campus this morning.

Bystanders wouldn't have much of a clue as to WHO did the shooting.

No "active shooting".

A guy pulled a fire alarm and ran over people with a car as they left a building.

Shots fired were from cops.

"Now police say the individual hit a group of students then got out of the car and began stabbing people. Most injured students appear to be not seriously wounded. Perp used a butcher knife to attack students and was shot within one minute of beginning the incident and was DOA."

Law enforcement officials told NBC News the suspect's name is 18-year-old Abdul Artan, a student at the university. He was a Somali refugee who left his homeland with his family in 2007, lived in Pakistan and then came to the United States in 2014 as a legal permanent resident of the United States, officials said.

The motive was unknown, but officials said the attack was clearly deliberate and may have been planned in advance.

It turns out it was a Somali immigrant, was in Pakistan in 2007, came to the US in 2014 with a green card. Drove his car into a bunch of students that had been evacuated for a fire drill and then jumped out of his car and started stabbing random students. A cop with a gun ended the attack. So far no reports of demonstrations by BLM or other police hating groups, but we can wait until the video i out.
