A restaurant owner who served US President Barack Obama breakfast on a campaign stop has died hours later.

Josephine Harris, 70, who owned Ann's Place in Akron, Ohio, was taken to hospital after complaining of fatigue and a tingling feeling.

She went into cardiac arrest en route and was pronounced dead shortly after 11:00 EST (15:00 GMT).

Mr Obama arrived the restaurant at about 08:30, ordering two eggs "over easy", bacon and wheat toast.

The Summit County medical examiner's office said Josephine Harris had died of natural causes and there would be no autopsy.

In a statement, White House press secretary Jay Carney said Mr Obama called her daughter from Air Force One to express "his sorrow and his condolences".

"He was honoured to meet [Ms Harris] this morning and passed on his feeling that the whole family is in his thoughts and prayers," Mr Carney said.

The Akron Beacon Journal reported that Ms Harris had hugged Mr Obama when she met him at the restaurant.

"I'm sure this was her highlight," Frankie Adkins, her sister, told the Journal. "She loved Obama."

She probably overheard some of their discussion of the Stargate program by accident, and they had her neutralized.

Its gotta be a slow forum day to troll in the coincidence that Obama random visit to one Ohio ma and paw type diner had anything to do with the owners death some hours later. For example, in the USA, in the year 2009, almost 2 and a half million people died of various causes. Which computes out to 6800 deaths per day.

Or we could compute the American death rate into deaths per thousand in population, and compare it to other countries in the world, and we may be temporarily distressed to see, compared to the world average, that the US death rate is much higher than average. But when we factor in the very high percentage of our population that is elderly, we find our average lifespan of 78.5 years is one of the highest in the world.

But still, with American's dying at a rate of 6800 a day, I am sure, if we try hard enough, we can find the cause of death, in every case, was due to something stupid a politician said on that very day.

That's an easy question to answer, as they are dying off at the same rate, and by the year 2080 or so, they too will all be consumed. Death is an equal opportunity employer, and cares nothing about our politics.

Just look at Obama's sec of Commerce, he had a stroke, and ran amok on the highways. Yep, Obama must have caused the stroke, or maybe it was the prospect of Mitt Romney. From the rocking of the cradle to the rolling of the Hurst, nothing is more certain than death, taxes and a plethora of idiotic politicians. It ain't getting any better folks, its a Presidential year, be like me, stock up on barf bags, popcorn, and plenty of beer, because by October 2012, the manure will be running hip deep in every neighborhood in the USA. Don't get swept away in the ensuing flood of manure.

You mean neuraliyed. Unfortunately on very rare occasions individuals can have a fatal delayed reaction to the M.I.B. neuralyzers. It is exceedingly rare and there has never been any known case of it in people younger than 60 years old so it is considered an acceptable risk.

Terrible things happen, no one can hold the President responsible for that.

With that said, damn, it sure does make for a bad campaign headline.

Clearly this a conspiracy, Darrel Issa needs to commence hearings on this matter immediately.
