Hell, I'm just confused how government got all tied up in the issue of marriages in the first place.

Agreed. I have already stated my position on this, and am surprised that so many consider this an appropriate role of government.

Cheers!

What I find most ironic about all this anti-gay legislation is how they tout it as "Support for Families and Marriage".

Uh, like gays are the ones destroying families and marriages? Last time I checked the average American gets married almost twice. And we haven't even touched issues such as adultery, heterosexual cohabitation (Vic, you pig! :) ), non payment of child support, and porn (cyber adultery).

I'd suggest the Governor of Ohio clean up the hets before he starts complaining about the ASSUMED bad influence gays will have on the State of Matrimony (currently located one floor above HELL).

LOL, what bloody hypocrits.

No, but seriously. No religious or governmental institution tells me who I can or cannot love, nor dictates my relationships. That issue I leave entirely up to the woman I love and God. Why people hand over such an important and deeply personal aspect of their lives to human institutions, I will never understand.

Tax break.

They feel so insecure that they need to gov't to back them up. So pathetic.

What happened to conservatives? Ones that didn't lean on the gov't for protection?

Haha, this from a farging liberal! Myself I dont care about this issue, I think its pathetic.

How am I liberal? I think you need to brush up on your politics. I'm assuming you think I'm liberal from your interpretation of my previous posts. Can you say libertarian? Let's spell it out. Take it slow, don't force it.
L-I-B-E-R-T-A-R-I-A-N.

There's your lesson of the day. Enjoy.

L-I-B-E-R-T-A-R-I-A-N. = person who double posts? \

Seriously though. The differences between liberal and L-I-B-E-R-T-A-R-I-A-N seem only to be that L-I-B-E-R-T-A-R-I-A-N.'s choose to throw away thier vote on third party candidates that never have a chance.

Wow. Now I know what kind of person I'm dealing with. So not only are you saying you are a sheep, you are saying I am wrong because I am not?

Amazing.
