Ohh my! Look what you get with new P4B266 bios!

Only thing on Asus' page is 1005 (still). Is this 1006 a beta? Where can I get it? Any idea when it'll actually be released?
 
Nope.

BIOSes for ASUS boards are board specific. You cannot use a P4B266 BIOS on a P4B266-C.

KenAF Those vcore options are for the williamette I believe. These options came with the 1003 bios version.

BIOS Setup allows adjusting the processor Vcore. For CPUs built on Willamette the Vcore can vary from 1.75V to 1.85V with an increment of 0.025V, for those on Northwood from 1.5V to 1.7V with the same increment. For extreme overclockers ASUS P4B266 offers a special jumper, which allows increasing the top limit for Vcore up to 2.1V for Pentium 4 (Willamette) CPUs and up to 1.75V for Pentium 4 (Northwood) CPUs.
 
Well I spoke too soon. I installed the new bios and so far it works up to 1.85v. I'm going reboot and see if I can get the voltage to change even higher. At 1.775v in the BIOS I usually got around 1.71v from the bios monitor. With 1.85v in the BIOS I got around 1.74v. So its not a big boost so far...I'll see if I can push the vcore higher.

Edit : Ok by setting the vcore to 2.00 in the BIOS I got the vcore up to 1.9v actually in the hardware monitor. It actually took me about 4-6 reboots to get it to correctly run at the voltage. I had it set at 2.00 and it hung around 1.75 then all the sudden next reboot it hit 1.9v and a siren started going off in the computer. Doesnt seem like a good idea to run it at that high of voltage. I then set it back down to 1.5v and next reboot it stayed at 1.9v,same with the next reboot,then it finally went back down to 1.5v. I've had this problem before where you tell it a voltage and it will lag for 2-3 reboots then it will actually run at the right vcore. So just be careful when using this BIOS. BTW this bios does not fix the CPU temp stuck at 40C. I didnt think the 1005 did either.
