This article is about the European chocolate confectionery. For the American sugar candy, see Smarties (Ce De Candy)

Nestlé Smarties are a colourful sugar-coated chocolate confectionery popular in Europe and the Commonwealth of Nations.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smarties_(Ce_De_Candy)

In the United States, Smarties are a type of artificially fruit-flavored candy produced by Ce De Candy, Inc., from 1949 through the present. They are marketed in Canada under the brand name Rockets, to avoid confusion with Nestlé Smarties.

Well, isn't it a bit of a step up? I mean, I remember kids snorting Kool-Aid in the 80s. Is it better for them to imitate doing cocaine or smoking?

Hell, back in the 80s we had those candy cigarettes that actually did have "dust smoke".

Who doesn't know that?! When they write an article about the automobile, do they mention that it's a popular mode of transportation? 😕

I had to look them up. I know they are candy, but I couldn't visualize what they were.

They used to have those gum cigarettes - they came in realistic cigarette packs, too. They were covered in a powdered sugar so when you blew into them, smoke came out.

They've stopped making them, I believe. I liked them a lot as a kid. I've never smoked anything ever.

ah, beat me to it.

They still have those, at least overseas. If you did it just right, you could get two puffs out of them 😛
