Wow, people got fired! My last office job the department head was boinking a secratary, but no one got fired when it came out. The boss's wife divorced him and the secratary move away a year later.

You can't fire him for utilizing a perk of his job!

haha, good read. well-written. Completely understandable :) Kind of reminds me of that one guy, anyone else remember him, who would post log, sordid tales detailing mundane events, like buying shampoo at a drug store or something? He had an altar-ego Frank or something. I miss that guy :(

God I love corporate America...the cornerstone of American stupidity where even intelligent people go to lose their marbles, marriages, what-have-you! Great Post! :D

Having worked for corporate America, I can attest that the scenario described in the OP is not as uncommon as people would like to believe.

Never underestimate the smaller head. Intelligence doesn't help you when it takes over. Typically men always think that they can get away with it anyway, forgetting that women are such fickle, unpredictable creatures. Most men think they would never jeopardize a marriage, but keep in mind that most men are not presented with the same oportunities.

When I see hot, beautiful women at work, in my head I always know that someone else at work is either sleeping with her or trying to get with her (typically the higher ups), regardless of the marital status of her or the pursuer.

Isn't that the truth. A married guy with two kids that I work with has been here about 5 years now. I can probably count more than 10 times he has been accused of having an affair with another employee at our company. One rumor reached his boss and he got called into a meeting with him, asking about it. The boss kept badgering him on about it, just knowing that he had the affair. The said woman was leaving the bank, and he couldn't go to her company sponsored going-away party because of it.

Whether or not he has had an affair with any of these people, his reputation is already tainted at our company. He technically can't get fired because there is no concrete evidence, but I think he will be leaving sometime next year.

I doubt you would REALLY want the same situation as his workplace.

That is awesome. I should find myself another corporate gig, just for the entertainment factor alone.

I am glad we don't work for the same company or I'd definitely file harassment claims against you for being a dick :)
As a proud member of the "Ivy League Loser" club, let me just say that pclstyle's story was very clear. On the other hand you criticism were unecessarily harsh and your questions were those of the classic "I'm really stupid but think I am smart" guy. Seriously, if you couldn't figure out who the protagonists of this story were, you have to lay off the lead paint snacks...

pclstyle, do you reply to a lot of emails every day at work? Your posts seem to indicate that.

1. Was the manager, father of two, the same one that the hot young girl slapped and yelled at?
2. Was the hot young girl on the outting the same one that the father of two had an affair with?
3. What other victims of sexual harassment were there? Who were the culprits of these so called crimes? The aforementioned people or others?
4. Were any of the subsequent claims legitimate?

confusing? wow.

i soppose he should have had pictures.
