...and i have my own damn office.

Wow not only did the manager ruin his career but also I'd assume his marriage is going to end as a result for some young T&A

Seriously, why do companies even have company functions where alcohol is served?! That's just asking to get sued!

The way things are today, companies HAVE to clean house because the liability for looking the other way is too great. Easier to sacrifice a bunch of workers than face a multimillion dollar lawsuit for permitting bad behavior.

The woman will probably sue and get a nice big out-of-court settlement, although no one will ever know. I wonder if the guy she was fooling around with would say it was worth it now.

Everything is cool but then one person flips out... and next thing you know, a whole bunch of people are out of work - PLUS have the "sexual harrassment" tag hung on them.

Wow, I can sort of understand the upper level managers getting the axe...but all those other people that weren't involved? Do you actually think they were sexually harassing people? I'm asking the OP here...but it doesn't sound like he does.

WOW, great fvcken read!

Amazing how it only takes one "uncomfortable" situation to make it a huge deal. Sexual Harrassment is by far the worst concept ever conceived.

Great read btw

I thought the same thing. Hey OP....was there even an investigation into the underlings being axed? If not, HR might still have some problems with a couple of wrongful termination suits.

SH charges are such a black mark I don't think many people wouldn't choose to sue for wrongful termination in cases such as this.

Wow. Really interesting read. It's pretty sad though that all of those people got the axe though over a few mistakes.

Well, I have would have to disagree - if not for women given the power to declare "sexual harassment", the playing field would not be as nearly even as it is, since it would still be a "man's world". Although some women do take advantage of it, its helped out tremendously.

HR's the BEST dept. to work for, period.

Ps. They should've burned the playmate wannabe at the stake in the company court yard.

"drama" = understatement
I thought this only happened in fiction. Arthur Miller's play "The Crucible" comes to mind here.

I apreciate how you tried to write in an elevated fashion, like a prep-school grad but sort of got old fast and made things confusing.

1. Was the manager, father of two, the same one that the hot young girl slapped and yelled at?
2. Was the hot young girl on the outting the same one that the father of two had an affair with?
3. What other victims of sexual harassment were there? Who were the culprits of these so called crimes? The aforementioned people or others?
4. Were any of the subsequent claims legitimate?
