Well, with this race with TWTA winding down...what do I find out?

I'm out of town and the so called Sysadmin Lady (old story..remember!) has screwed our network up at my plant beyond belief...🙁

My Work Queue is down along with all the PC's attached to it...so the chance to get past TWTA by 6:30 am is very remote now.....ding...dang....

Ray...can I borrow your cane.? You know..the one with spikes and spurs on it! :Q

Thanks TWTA for a great race...it's just my luck to get to the end and have it screwed up by some dingbat who has no clue! 🙁

Rowdy Ray hands Engineer his titanium cane, and grabs another one for himself. We can *wack* her together, Engineer. This ain't no way for a race to end! :|:|

You do know, that it was only a matter of time before she did something like this. Give someone admin rights who doesn't have a clue, and they will eventually screw something up. :|

So how's it looking for tonight? I'm, hungry and ready to get out of here and head your way. We can cry our woes over dinner, as I'm losing the tualitin core laptop 5hr21min WU avg tomorrow, and a PIII750 laptop Friday. 🙁

Well Engineer, I can understand how you feel. If this was a serious race it would really suck. But I look at it this way, it is just for fun, it increases production usually, so really everybody on the team benifits and "wins". I really don't see any losers in races like this.

So whether TWTA or The Federation has more WUs when OhioDude does the stats it's all good! Go T.A.! Go TeAm!

So sorry Engineer, I had a senior moment and completely forgot to unplug the Ethernet cable. I even forgot to turn off unused PCs when I left work tonight. :Q Sorry about that. 🙁

Seriously, I hate to see a close great race end by a mishap or fleet shutdown. No matter how it ends, there's always 9K and 10K up ahead. 😀

BTW, had a good time hanging out with Engineer tonight. 😀 We both took some whacks at Ms. Knowitallbutreallyhasnoclue. Engineer was tempted to return to work and assimilate some PCs tonight. I offered to help, but for some reason he turned me down. 😉😉😉

Well,

Thanks to my plant manager and his cell phone, I was able to talk him into tracing my Queue PC down last night (before I ate dinner with Ray) and moving it from the old hub to the switch. He rebooted it and it gave it an IP, but the other PC's in the plant hadn't dumped to the Queue, so I assumed that they all would now flush. This morning, however, I checked it and all but 2 have flushed (Still 1.5GHz worth not flushing though 🙁 )...so things are looking better! 🙂

This is a nailbiter! :Q
