Oh well... I guess I won't be seeing Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever

Not that I really wanted to in the first place. The trailer made it look pretty bad.

I was just hoping for ninety minutes of Antonio Banderas and Lucy Liu beating up on each other and had some hopes that it would be entertaining for that, but when you can't even get a half-hearted recommendation out of chaotic, unceasing violence, it's time to just stick to Unreal Tournament 2003.

I guess it's another weekend of no movies for me. The Transporter might have been good, but it got moved to October. The closest showing of Spirited Away is nearly four hours away, and I have a sneaking suspicion that The Banger Sisters will be disappointing if one goes to it on the basis of name alone.

Damn. I mean DAMN! I found XXX to be amusing the first time through, I don't think I'll ever watch it again though. But that is just painful comparison...

"based on a novel by Stephen King..."
Britney Spears
Anna Nicole Smith
Star Wars prequel...
"based on the game..."

I just saw it, and only because some of my co-workers and I were in the mood for a bad movie. All I can say is, that if you see that the movie made $35 this weekend, it was because we contributed to this horrible flick.

I didn't think that "The One" could be beat, but it was.

Actually the game was based off the movie (which was still in production). The game is supposed to be really good though, although I haven't tried it personally.

Actually, I believe that Ecks Vs. Sever was originally a comic book, ported to movie and video game.
In any case, stay away from movies directed by a guy who insists on calling himself "KAOS" in the credits.

Any movies that uses X or in this case "Ecks" in the title is really unimaginative. I absolutly hate the use of X in marketing. I see it so often it makes me want to puke.

After reading those reviews it makes me want to go to the movie, watch about 10 minutes of it and then walk out of the theater screaming angerly so that everyone else notices.
