Oh this sucks....no raise till october :(

just got out of meeting with VP and no raises till october. Time to update the resume.

usually we get one in april but this time we got bought out in April and the other company does raises in october(if the company makes atleast 5% profit). So we have to wait till october to see if we get lucky.

that's a bummer. I got a raise this week, plus stock options. Of course they're pretty much worthless but it's the thought that counts.

even october raise is conditional. I think I should atleast ask for a better cube location near a window or a better title than a lousy Software Engineer. Its about time they made me senior software engineer.

I had 1 raise in last 2.7 years. I did get a small x-mas bonus and some cash for my stock options but those are 1 time incomes.


whiney? Well you can say its a matter of motivation for me . It makes me wanna do just enough not to lose my job.

Exactly, I feel lucky to get two raises this year, but I feel sorry for the "out-sourced" team here who works for a different company (Getronics), no raise for them for five years.
