Damn, I didn't think it was time yet, but I'm starting to feel early allergy symptoms. Anyone else get bad allergies? I

I've had awful allergies every spring for about 5 years.

This year i FINALLY got off my butt and did something about it.

Got a prescription for Claritin...i take like one little tiny grain of salt sized pills once and day and WHOA! Allergies are GONE!

I don't mean gone, i mean GONE! I haven't had any symptoms since the day i started taking 'em.

Where was this stuff all my life????

Claritin is the best stuff I've taken over the years I've had allergies. Always knocks out the symptoms. I have to go to the doctor sometime soon and get another prescription - I can sort of feel the symptoms coming up again.

<< I believe Claritin becomes over-the-counter drug earlier this year >>

yeah, it's supposed to, and when it does i highly suggest giving it a try

my doctor actually prescribed allegra, but it was like 60 bucks / month (with my insurance) versus 20 bucks / month w/ claritin...so we all know which route i took!

I hate taking medication, but I may go with claritin this year. I tried allegra in the past and it worked ok.

Does claritin have any side effects or long-term effects? My wife is suffering from a bad case of the allergies now.

well at least you have work to be allergic with.

I found out my job may be on the chopping block next week.
