OMG! I used the limited access account on my laptop for so long that I forgot the admin password!
Anyway to password back with out reinstalling the OS?
OK, Microsoft, how the hell I'm I able to change the power setting from Max Battery to Mininal Power Management with Limited Account, but can't change the power setting back to Max Battery with Limited Account???

ANyone got any ideas? I don't mind not having admin access for a while, but I do need to change the power setting to Max Battery.

Thanks

There's a boot disk out there based on Linux that will allow you to blank out the admin password. Do a search, it's been linked to here plenty of times.

I don't have a floppy drive in my laptop 🙁
What else can i do? How do i change the power setting to max battery with limited account?

http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ THE Ultimate Boot CD (UBCD) is the greatest thing since the floppy drive, Download it and create a disk by using nero to open the iso file. On the Finlaized UBCD disk there are some password editing and recovery programs. or if you know where to look find it in the registry, but I cant remember how that is done.
