Why wouldn't I pull for an ACC team?

I don't have this extreme hate that the rest of you guys have for teams. It's PATHETIC. If NC State doesn't go, I pull for an NC team.
 
No better way for Dook to lose than Jason Willams blowing *another* game at the free throw line. In no manner does he deserve player of the year. Heck, he even lost out for ACC player of the year.

Juan Dixon is the most impressive 170lb stud you will ever meet. Jason Williams carried Duke much of last year and all of this year. Battier was a great leader and Dunleavy's got all the tools and a bowl of grits (well probably Cream of Wheat😉). But Duke without Jason Williams would be a shell . . . they wouldn't bite as much as Doherty's poop job this year but 20 wins would have been a struggle. Few teams have anyone that can check him solo and once he's made his move help is usually too late.
 
Oh and if you can't tell I'm a Heel still bitter that we told him he could come but he would have to play #2 b/c we had a POY at point . . . Ronald Curry . . . damn.
 
Dook's 6-10, 250lb 3rd string center Matt Christiansen had to be restrained after the game. He apparently shoved a cop and is being investigated. Stay tuned.

If he gets in trouble that would be priceless. Dook has had too many years of sainthood.

LOL one girl from my dorm ran over there, got the team to sign a poster that said GO DUKE, then they promptly crossedoutthe D and E and coloredthe UK in Blue, it is hanging over the front desk. And reportedly someone stole the license plate off of Boozers parents car

If you watched the endgame you could see Matt over Coach K's shoulder. Coach K addressed him at least once and then went to shake hands (with that wry "I can't believe my dynasty choked" look on his face). Matt C. (the Mormon) was absolutely flaming; if he didn't get arrested he needed an ER b/c I think he might have had an aneurysm. I think he thought Boozer was fouled at the end.

Bah... That was my problem then. Once the clock ran out I had to make sure a certain Duke fan I know saw the outcome of the game. 😉 I guess the press didn't get wind of it to fast because there was no mention of it at the post game interview's.

Coach Davis of Indiana just acknowledged "I Love Kentucky" the Kentucky fans Booing Duke and inviting them to root them on Saturday! Personally I think they'll Root for the Underdog Kent State.

I'll give credit though them Hoosiers they deserve it and I Love seeing Jayson williams Choke for Once!

I first off have to admit that I hate two things in sports.....The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Duke basketball team.

That being said, its not like I can just say that Duke sucks when the obviously have some serious talent there...but


Is it me or did they really lose their composure with about 6 minutes left? Jason Williams took several crazy, running down the lane and throw it towards the hoop, shots, threw away a couple of passes, Boozer threw a pass away as well, and Dunleavy threw a ball away as well.

J.W clearly has skills, but I don't know if he is mentally ready to be a point guard in the NBA. Without a doubt, he has to get his free throw shooting in the 70+ range, no excuse for it now (Brandon Knight on Pitt in the 40's at the line? Yikes), and he has to quit trying to personally answer with a bucket anytime his man scores on him. Has anyone else noticed that? I will be interested when draft time comes around.....I don't think he is a lock to be in the top three picks anymore.

Is Pitt one of the least skilled 25-4 teams ever? My god, they don't have anyone who can create their own shot other than Knight, and he is afraid of going to the free-throw line cause he shoots in the 40's. Other than Uconn, the Big East is clearly suckage if Pitt beat up on them.

Hooray for Kent St, always good to see the little guys get this far. OHIO!

The guy who said that Pitt should shoot down Kent St should be banned from the forums forever for perhaps the most thoughtless comment I have read in quite some time...joke or not, it isn't funny.

My pick of Oklahoma still looks good, but of the three brackets I turned in, only one looks like it has a chance to win the pool it is in...wouldn't you know it, it is the smallest pool!

ummm if you own an NBA team and you don't draft Boozer in the top ten, then you have SERIOUS problems as an owner. i HATE duke, always have and always will. But Boozer is a GREAT player. everyone misses a shot at some point in their career....one shot isn't going to make or break an NBA player.
