Some of the picketing union members here at the soon to be closed Tyler Goodyear Plant decided to complain that I, and a few other people, have come very close to hitting them with my car when trying to get through their picket line.
So I have to talk to the HR Manager about it in a little bit. Wonderful.
I guess I have somehow violated their rights to block traffic.

Well if anything happens to me, or my car, it was the steelworkers union. Everyone remember that.

Haha a few po-po cars were outside the plant when I got to work today. I guess they recieved some complaints about the union being too forceful with their picketing. Keeping the peace.

How long do these idiots think they can earn $30/hr for watching a machine work all day before they drive the company to seek cheaper labor?

I was going to say this. I worked at a plant and its not all sit there and watch a machine work. It lifting all damn day long non stop feeding the machines and back breaking labor and HOT as an oven in there. Anyone here ever stack semi tires rase your hand?

<<<-----Ferverishly raises hand.

Try stacking 75-100lb semi tires 8 foot high all day long. Working at a factory is not like you see on tv where most are sitting around doing nothing. And I worked at a few and serviced alot of parts washers at a ton more. Not easy work to say the least. Some worth every penny they make and in some case not nearly enough at $8 an hour to work like a freaking dog sweating and breaking your back all day long.

But I hate to be a scab like the OP and crossing that picket line. When it comes close to the plant closing, then your going to see sh!t happening. Hope you got great car insurance and a great lawyer ;) You want to talk about desperate union workers pissed about a scab taking his job at a plant he will NEVER be able to work at again tat is for sure closing. Some will beat the sh!t out of your car, some will beat the sh!t out of you, and some will be crazy enough to jump in front in hopes you kill them or injury them and live to sue you. Id be very careful when it comes close to the plant closing its doors if I were you. Union workers hate scabs and hate them more when they take thier jobs to the end when the doors close and there isnt even a picket job to look forward to anymore and YOU will be the person they will take it out with. And this will go on for ever including if they see you on the street. You will be to blame and I bet they didnt tell you this tid bit of goodies when you got hired to take a unions persons job did they?
