***OH MY WORD --- theres a BUG living in my TFT*** NOW WITH PICS

this little stringy worm thing jus wandered round my desktop....i thought it was a bug on the screen

went to wipe it off.....nothing happened

its behind the bloody screen wandering aboutm it appears to be behind the actual TFT bit since it gets obscured by words n stuff

this is crazy

UPDATE =

well it appears to have died.....its now 3 inches up and 1 inch from the right hand side of the monitor, and its plainly visible on anything other than really dark colours....stupid insect

and its not like i can RMA it...since theres nothing physically wrong with the monitor

the pics dont really tell the whole story....its very visible, even my brother who just came in to see me noticed it right away...

those are really rubbish shots....take my word for it...its annoying, i cant hide it !

Damn, that sucks. Perhaps there's some way you can take it apart, remove the bug, and put it back together again without destroying it .... though I'm sure it would void the warranty.

I'd try to RMA it. You could argue that there must have have been an unseen minor physical or "cosmetic" deformity that was not caught by QC, and due to that defect, the insect was able to successfully gain entry to the tft.

possibly.....it hasnt moved for a while, which is why im guessing its dead, ill see in the morning, but this sucks....every piece of hardware i purchased (bar the speakers) hasnt put a foot wrong....so nature decides to intervene instead
