Got my first up close and personal look at a TSX today. WOW! It looks like Honda took the best asthetic elements of the new Accord and merged it with a BMW 3-Series. Pics. If this thing was available a few months ago I would really have had to think twice (or three or four times) about getting the Accord 6-Speed coupe...probably would have gotten the TSX. Now all it needs is an engine with some balls.

costs too much for too little, its what 26.9 base, I'd pay some more and get the Lexus IS w/ the inline six instead of hondas anemic 4 cylinder.

I've read its based on the midsize honda platform, what do the euro accords look like?

Maybe because you just don't like overpriced, underpowered sedans that look like an accord that costs $4000 less? :D

Interior = sw33t though.

yeah it definitely looks nice, I'd seriously consider a TSX over an accord simply for the look. Maybe in the coming months you'll be able to haggle off the sticker.

The IS300 is an old design, MSRP is 3K more, and leather/moonroof isn't standard. Those two options alone are another 2K. So if you match up options, the IS is actually 5K more.

You can get a Fully loaded IS with the works for like 31,500 which includes the Nav

If you check the dealerships if not all IS300's have Moonroof and leather/Ecsaine. which could be bought for like 27,900 depending on the region and the dealership

The TSX has little that appeals to me. For the money there's an @$$load of other cars I'd take hands down over it anyday of the week, especially for a juiced up European Accord

I beleive that moonroof is standard, and you can get it for under MSRP. click

You can get it below Invoice in certain dealerships depending on their stock and how badly they want to move them.
I got mine 300 over invoice :(
I should have bargained better, but the other dealerships around me wanted way much more. So I dont think i did too bad.

How does Lexus NAV compare to Acura's? I've heard that Acura's have the best NAV.

If I wanted a small sporty Japanese luxury sedan, why would I buy a meager FWD rebadged European market Accord?

Gimme a RWD IS300 5-speed or a G35 Sport 6-speed.

Heck I priced out an IS300 5-speed yesterday with leather and sport package for under $30,000.

I think the IS uses DVD based.. but some of the Lexus Nav uses HD based.
I do think Acura has better Nav and the Nav on the IS isn't touch screen like the GS or the LS but it's good from what I hear

Yup I kno, sad thing is my friend has an 01 leather/escine and he paid 33+ tax when it frist came out. So its RWD I6 VS FWD 4CYL, I'll take the lexus for a bit more. You won't be able to get the TSX for under MSRP anytime soon.

Foo. Please, the 'TSX' is the Euro Accord with a daft 'Luxury' name. Import one from Europe, it'll cost you less...

TSK more like...

this "anemic 4 cyl" is one of ward's 10 best engines for 2003. May I ask if you've ever driven one?
