It wasn't just that it was a typical "drugs destroy lives" story. If it was just that I wouldn't even have said anything. It's the whole way they did the imagery. The whole way they showed the mother falling into junky territory. The whole slap in the face they give you when she never recovers after going into treatment.

And that violin music... major creepy. <shivers>

i too just saw this on dvd today. not bad, not great, but decent.

the way they did those fast shots about the actual drug taking reminded me about that one movie with brad pitt as a boxer and lots of people with brit accents. what a terrible movie that was.

anywyas, that chick jennifer connolly is HOT

that movie was amazing. The story was great, because *SPOILER!!!*

there was no happy ending. Everybodies life went straight to hell. Its refreshing to see movies like that made.

I think they were doing heroin, but I am not completely sure. Never doing whatever they did though.

You mean Snatch? That movie was incredible! You need to watch it again, it's all about a diamond heist. The boxing was part of it, but in the end it's all about the robbery. You must have been drunk/high/having sex/masturbating/sleeping/whatever and missed out on 90% of the movie or so. Oh, and watch in pikey vision, so you can see what Brad Pitt is actually saying in the movie.
