Nah I'd probably go on it anyway.

But obviously there will never be one of those built in America because someone is bound to get hurt, then lawsuits galore.
 
There was a Seattle company that installed something like that back during the .Com boom. Can't remember which one off the top of my head, I heard about it while I was living there.
 
It's the slide at the Tate Modern museum in Britain. Notice the picture of the "TATE SHOP". I was there last winter, though I didn't get to ride down the slides.
