I don't understand how you expect to use this supposed AC adapter with an Intel motherboard?

You could've taken five seconds to Google the details of this motherboard, but instead you decided to be obtuse. That attitude doesn't belong in the technical forums.

This motherboard uses a 19V power supply that is connected to it at the back panel along with the other ports.

yeah I would have purchased this board. it does not use a discrete gpu.

it reminds me a bit of the 2005 to 2009 white mac minis.

I could have built a small ht with this. use a power brick. to the op there are a lot of power bricks that do 19 volts. what held me up was the idea of using the intels 4000 graphics. when has well comes out I will look at the haswell versions of this board.

In my opinion, the HD 4000 is completely adequate for HTPC purposes. Unless there's some issue with it that I haven't heard about that would make them a poor fit for such an application.

I always hated how some companies will use an oddball voltage like that. Makes finding an adapter harder. What's wrong with the one you posted?

You can use a discrete gpu with it, just requires a bit of work.

You would need to get a pci-e x4 card which are rare and expensive or you could mod the slot to fit a full size card in it. Problem is that you would not be able to run a card needing more power than what the x4 slot gives.

yeah I came to this conclusion so when the haswell comes out i will revisit this board or its newer version. I also thought to use that 1 slot with a pcie/ssd holder. I have one in a parts drawer .

I would build a 1 fan build small quiet. use a prolimatech samuel 17 heatsink with this fan

upfire it put it all in a leftover 2009 mac mini case. use this as the bottom

the square one. put some rubber feet on it. 4 screws and a few nylon standoffs. the mobo the heatsink the mini frame with the top lifted and call it a day. but that is a 2013 project
