I see what you mean. I'm gonna dread when I go home to Malaysia in the coming two months. 🙁
 
only a 17... pity me then.. for spending a month and a half on a 14" crt that couldnt do more than 50hz.

and I use a 19 all the time...

Having nothing but dialup, I have only the occasional burp of 31,200bps to be disappointed with. If that happens I just reconnect & usually get 50,666. If I ever experience cable or DSL, I'll probably be depressed for the rest of my life 'cuz I can't justify the additional expense right now.🙁

Oh well, I'm O.K. with dialup up for now.
