Normally, this wouldn't be an issue. People should have time to unwind. Especially the POTUS. But, when you go on record and criticize Obama for doing exactly the same thing you're doing than someone is not being congruent.

"I'm going to be working for you, I'm not going to have time to go play golf," Trump said at the time.

How can you still have faith in someone who is doing the opposite of what he said he would be doing during his run for the White House?

Say what you want about Trump but you really can't say he hasn't put sufficient hours into the job. It's been widely reported that he has few hobbies, doesn't need much sleep and works day and night at his job. So he played golf one month into his Presidency...

Obama played 333 times.

Do the math. A little less than twice a week.

I never criticized Obama for playing golf. I figured when he was playing golf he wasn't screwing up my healthcare or redistributing income. If you're a neverTrumper I'd think you'd want him to spend more time on the golf course

You mean like someone who duped people by claiming they could keep their Dr? Pretty big lie there. All Presidents don''t keep every vow they make on the campaign trail. They mean well, reality sets in most of the time. But look above me to see the comparison in golfing.

That is hilarious.

Wow. So much fail in that post.

As if he even works when he's not golfing. He has cable news and tweeting to fill much of his day. He doesn't seem capable of having two congruent thoughts. Likely the rest of the day is inane ranting and letting his various sycophants take turns licking his taint.

The reports have actually been the exact opposite, that he spends a great deal of time watching cable news instead of paying attention to what he should be paying attention to.

Okay, I did the math.

52 x 8 = 416
416/333 =1.25
7x1.25=8.75

That means Obama golfed once every 9 days or so, not a little less than twice a week like you said. If I remember right according to reports Trump has gone golfing each time he's gone down to Florida, meaning he is golfing at a higher rate than Obama, despite repeatedly complaining that Obama golfed too much. He's a hypocrite.

I never criticized Obama for playing golf. I figured when he was playing golf he wasn't screwing up my healthcare or redistributing income. If you're a neverTrumper I'd think you'd want him to spend more time on the golf course

I generally don't care if presidents golf or not either, but Trump has been so incompetent and so totally unprepared so far that it's abundantly clear he needs to spend more time on his homework.

This just shows that yet another major criticism of Obama was nothing but FUD. I never could understand what the big deal about Obama golfing was, turns out it, it was just because he was a democrat.

I'm pretty sure that 333 number is the number of holes not complete rounds **Im wrong per previous link** but regardless Trump is on pace to exceed that number bigly.
I also have to ask, what makes this right? Even if Obama played 36 holes a day that somehow excuses Trump because two wrongs...

according to the OP article... "six times in his first month in office"

Trump's hypocrisy is of course the important point here.

Wow. We have had some very loud, angry conservatives over the past 8 years try and equate Obama's golfing to Bush's many days off. It's been the topic of quite a few CJ. Let's see if they will be as angry as they were with Obama. Conservatives seem to only complain when it isn't one of theirs...

I don't expect Trumpites to do anything but defend him, even if they attacked Obama for the same thing (even though Obama both played fewer rounds and didn't fly to fucking Florida to play 3 times in his first month costing the taxpayers millions each time). The reason I don't expect them to wise up, is they're not capable of doing anything even remotely wise. I wish I could have hope that Trumpites weren't fucktarded, but honestly I don't even have words for how remarkably, unbelievably, unabashedly goddamn stupid they are.

Let's hope in four years all of Trump's lies, hypocrisies, deceptions, breaches of ethics, exposed false promises, proven Russian collusion, eventual release of tax returns, blatant legislatively sponsored money grabs for himself and his fellow jerb creators, violations of executive over-reach and all of those other obnoxiously un-presidential behavior he has/will have committed finally catches up with him and results in him losing a re-election bid.

More and more as he reveals just what kind of person he really is, I'm subscribing to the oft mentioned notion that Trump never expected nor wanted to win the presidency. He just wanted the attention he would get out of the run and the eventual benefits to his business dealings it would provide.

Many Germans still defend Hitler.

Back to Trump. There could be nukes incoming and it could be Trump's fault, yet his fans would still defend him. It's a cult. Kinda like David Koresh. The only difference is Trump is not sleeping with the women.

It took Obama about 3 months before he played his first round of golf. I guess getting competent people in cabinet positions and settling in was more important than golfing.

Is that from the Betsy DeVos school of mathematics?
