Phil Jackson is making him stare at Michael Jordan posters repeating the words: "I wanna be like Mike, I wanna be like Mike."

It's just not Kobe's fault - it was the whole team. Iverson was pretty much cold in the 2nd half but the Sixers managed to stay in the game...it wasn't Kobe who lost, it was the Lakers.

That's right, it's not Kobe's fault because it's not his team. The way some of you have been pumping up Kobe as EQUAL to MJ has been ridiculous. The two stars, AI and Shaq traded great performances. The rest of the team didn't. That was the difference.

Of course it wasnt JUST Kobes fault... however the point is the Kobe vs MJ comparisons of the past few weeks have just been proven to be dribble. Iverson looked more like MJ to me... turn it on WHEN IT COUNTS.

Those last shots by Iverson were very much Jordanesque.

Kobe...selfish punk as always.

Shaq might be selfish.. but he takes it from all the other players .. in the paint..

Kobe is just a showoff... who couldn't give people the show..

Errr... thank Christ Shaq was selfish in this game... otherwise the Lakers would have lost by 20.

Like Mike, I wanna be like Mike.

You know guys, by the sheer amount of ding dong the witch is dead post up on this forum(though it's not quit true), it's clear that the unless your in LA, the majority of the people here in the US don't want to see another dynasty after the bulls split.

Yeah, dynasties get boring, I would even say so if I lived in the city.

I hope that over the next few years it renews a good Lakers/Sixers rivalry instead. :)

Shaq is a fat ass bully
the more i see him play the more i feel like killing him
he swings his elbows around and they never call a freaking foul and when he goes for those hook shots he uses his other hand to push the defenders arm away

Errr... somehow I think Shaq would probably crush you like an insect. Shaq has earned some 'respect' from the refs over the years... do you watch basketball? Have you seen how badly Shaq has been hacked over the years? I have NEVER seen such physically violent and obvious fouls as Ive seen against Shaq over the years. So, yes, he probably has earned a little 'leeway' with the refs. Thats the way it works.

And to think that those fouls would REALLY hurt him, big as he is...right?

The game is just starting here in Hawaii. I totally forgot how far apart we are. I IM'd a friend, and he said the Sixers won. I started jumping up and down!

its not just who scores the most, its the ability to execute when it counts.
Iverson was pretty much invisible during the last quarter, but he scored 5 points in the last 15secs, Kobe give me a break Bryant again proved how much of an unexperienced wannabe he is.
How on earth did anyone compare this guy to MJ?
