This is beyond the fact that Intel probably has no clue how much of their processors you sell at your location since they aren't directly selling to your store anyway. The supply chain is probably Intel -> Compaq, HP, etc... -> Futureshop store-wide contract -> Futureshop retailer. I don't really think that it's possible for Intel to have even the slightest clue about how much or how little you push their product. It's much more likely that this is coming from somewhere within the Futureshop organization as Intel products generally have higher margins than AMD ones. Not only that, but these people might actually have sale figures and people (e.g. managers) that can monitor what happens within their stores.
Actually, no... that couldn't be, Intel is the devil. They have black helicopters flying overhead right now over your house and monitor everything you've ever told a customer. By now they have an extensive profile on you and your AMD-promoting ways. You better watch out, I hear that MS does that with people who push linux too. :roll:
