Just wonderful, a new virus.

It has reset my homepage to www.edmunds.com
It constantly opens MS Money to check and re-check the budget
I find myself paying extra attention to the new car ads
My car constantly steers past the new car lot on the way home "just to look"
I find myself able to justify spending $30,000
I lie to my wife about how bad of shape the current car is in

Yep, the dreaded new car fever........how do I get rid of it?

I hate those stupid things that change your home page. My friend has one and short of reinstalling Windows, I couldn't figure out how to remove it. It did nothing else so I didn't worry about it.

I have been experiencing the same virus. I put a deposit down for a new car this morning so hopefully the virus will go into remission and the symptons will go away for awhile.

sounds like Malware.

Run MSconfig, clear out your Startup
then go to The Run Section in the Regitry and delete everything there but Default.
reboot
then put thigns back in MSconfig.
