All the discounts were publically available. I'm not sure if Big Bucks stacked on top of that because I used mine earlier in the day on some 8400s.
 
yeah, I knew about it for 2 hours and didn't pull the trigger when I should have. If they had a 19" IPS panel at a similarly cheap price I wouldn't have hesitated so long.

It'll be back though.

I doubt it would be any time soon.

350 for a 20" lcd is pretty hard to come by.

$395 for a 20" was pretty hard to come by last week too. Dell's prices usually have one way to go, and with LCD prices dropping...you can come up with your own conclusions.
 
I've heard the main reason behind the slew of recent deals was that it's near the end of Dell's fiscal quarter and they're trying to post up the best numbers possible.

I prefer dual 2001fps myself because i dont watch very many movies on my computer and mostly game. I experience minimal if any ghosting on them. But i would consider a change if they bump the resolution passed 1600 x 1200

I was speaking more along the lines of the strange aspect ratio and it's affect on gaming.
