I paid $7000 for this bike - a '98 - which is approximately the Blue Book price on it. However, the 1500 miles is FAR below what the average miles on this year bike should be, so it is probably worth above blue book....

996cc V-Twin - Fuel Injected
M4 stainless/carbon race exhaust ($1100)
Dynojet PowerCommander - Remaps fuel injection curves for exhaust and airfilter ($250)
BMC race air filter ($50)
HyperPro Steering Damper - $350
Penske/Lindemann Race rear shock - ($1100)
Zero Gravity Screen - ($75)
Corbin seat ($200)
Plus a bunch of other carbon fiber goodies....

Once it's fully broken in, it should be good for approx 126 or so horsepower.

I got an awesome deal on the thing - I'm almost afraid to ride it, it's so perfect, hehe...

Thanks for all of the compliments guys, except for that jerk who thinks that I will be crashing it soon, what a horrible thing to say....

whoa.. nice bike.... I was plannin on gettin a bike sometime this year, but know that I'm still not mature enough (19, 20 in about a month) to be riding a bike like that.. plus insurance would be pretty expensive I'm guessing, not sure though, havent done any research...
anyways, nice bike man, and have fun w/ it and dont hurt yourself....

I'm 23 in a month and insurance is still a big pain - I'm going all out on full coverage for this thing... I will try to get more pics, maybe even action pics, or at least shots where it isn't in the trailer, and will post them if anybody is intrested...

My "other" girlfriend won't let the new one in bed with us, so I had to sleep in the garage instead ;);)

The best quote I got on it so far was $900 a year for full coverage, $250 deductibles.....and that's with 2 speeding tickets, being male, single, and under 25... 2 more years to go and I'm in insurance heaven....

Damn! Gotta love bike insurance! I pay $1500/year on my 4-cyl Civic. I'm 22 and I have a spotless record. Of course I live in Jersey, which also inflates the price :)
I think a big part of it is the liability part of it....

<< Dude, your girlfriend weighs over 200kg! :Q >>

hehe, yeah, I have to get on a diet ;)

As far as insurance goes - a bike part of the high prices for rockets is number one, obviously the performance, and number two, they're expensive to repair with all of the bodywork (a new set of plastic can run $1500 and up!)

Hmm.. that building in the background looks familar. That would happen to be Harding Park Cycle on wise avenue near alliance would it?

That's where I picked up my bike a couple months ago. Nice people there. Happy riding!

That was in Boston, OH - at a storage facility called Boston Max - right off of Route 8, just south of Interstate 80....

And rides are free for all! She puts out big time.
