I've heard the term thrown around before but never really read into it.

What does one do with an .iso file? Is it some sort of compressed file? I'm getting a large file and the extension is .iso.

How would I 'access' it? I'd like to burn the files onto a CD since it's so large. Can someone enlighten me? :)
Thanks

.iso files are CD images. You can burn it using Nero, EZ CD etc. Tell u what program you use, and we'll help you out.

BTW - If you dont want to burn it, and just want to extract the content, then use ISO buster or Winimage to extract it. But some images dont work off of a hard drive and need to be accessed from a CD.

Think of it as a Zip file. It is basically a copy of a CD. All the files in the original cd is in that ISO file.

YOu can use Nero wizard to burn it easily. Just choose >compile a new cd>Other CD formats>Create CD from CD image>then select the iso file.

What I would do is go to the store and buy the game instead of pirating it :p
