You've got something behind the motherboard that is shorting it out. You need to pull the board and remove it. I'd give you a near 100% guarantee that all will be fine afterwards.Originally posted by: entropy1982

yea i tried that boom... didn't work ... and yea about disconnecting all cables... it just seems very impractical to me and are you saying everytime yo plug in a new hdd for example you must unplug all the other ones?.... it just seems like a neverending loop to me...

In your BIOS, if you go to Integrated Peripherals and then IDE Function Setup, are both Serial - ATA 1 and Serial - ATA 2 set to Enabled?
3 SATA drives. Are you running RAID?
