OGR Writer Voting Thread And General Instructions

As per this thread, we're looking for someone to write a short peice about OGR for a Distriubted Computing article to be put on Anandtech. This will be an approval voting system, where you cna nominate anyone you want, and whoever has the most votes by the end of Sunday gets the job. However, nominees can back out at any time, so be prepared to change your vote if nessisary.:Q So, without further adu, place you votes please.🙂

Hey, you caught me away on a business trip with limited net access. I'd be happy to write an article concerning OGR. Is that like &quot;volunteering?&quot; How long, how detailed, any other info?????
 
It'll need to be realitively short, say an AT page or so. Go over what the project intends to accopmlish, when it started, when TA started, where we stand in the rankings, and about any other propaganda you can think of.🙂 You might also want to check out Hellburner's rough draft for SETI here.
 
It looks like HB did one heck of a job on the SETI piece.
I think that JonB has a much better understanding on what OGR is all about from threads that I remember seeing here so long ago. I would be anxious to read what JonB could write on the subject.
