OGR problem

I have 2 computers doing OGR constantly flushy directly to dnet on my cable modem. I just checked my stats and it says I didn't suddmit any blocks the last 2 days. I just checked my client on my comp and the one downstairs there both running perfectly fine.

Are you running the latest client? If not then they probably don't count.

Also, it takes a day or so before your stats show up if you flush directly to dnet.

Yeah I'm running the latest client I upgraded to the lateest client to do OGR...I have submitted some blocks all ready. I have never seen it take more than a day for my blocks to show up in my stats.

Also have you checked your DNETC.ini file to make sure that it still has your userid correct? According to your log, how many stubs have you done?

Thw whole version # is v2.8010-463-CTR-00071214 I checked it has my user id right. How do you check your log?

In order to check your log, you first must have enabled logging when you set up the client.

In the setup, this may be found under #4) Logging Options.

I typically just set up a fifo log, give it a name like (machine_name.log) and leave the size to the default of 0 (this will create a 100K continuously updating log... usually good for a few days worth of info)

Configured in the dnetc.ini file, the lines would look something like this:

log-file-type=fifo
log-file-limit=100
log-file=eliza_p.log


Unfortunately, if you never configured the logging, then you have no log to check. If that's the case, then I'd set it up right away. I use a fifo log on every machine in my herd.

I haven't tried the FIFO log option.

I have this in my INI file (I heartily recommend enablin Checkpoint files and Log files for all installations)

This style log file can get long, but its just hard drive space, right?

Your are keeping your buffers in memory. They are being lost when you shut down/restart.

I would suggest that your remove the "nodisk" option from your ini file.
Option 2 then option 1 to NO if you are using the interactive config route.

I changed it back to keep buffers on hard drive.

Cool I guess dnet is taking longer to update than before.

It looks like the 19th and 20th counted for yesterday because the 19th and 20th still are not there. Oh well.
