hi, ive been ripping all of my cds the past couple of weeks to get an all-digital collection, and ive been relying on CDex w/ Lame 3.92 VBR (128-256) to do it. I hear that OGG Vorbis is supposed to provide better quality sound at an equal or higher compression?

If so, what do you think the kbps is on OGG that would be the equivalent of the LAME VBR @ -r3mix preset ?

Doesn't compare to the alt presets. Ogg is a stupid format if you ask me. Also, install EAC instead.

Ogg vorbis is great for making dual audio anime video rips, also it is higher quality than mp3.
