Having revived my lust for Star Wars from seeing the Episode III, I present to you my collection of ORIGINAL FIGURES from back in the day. Thought it would be fun to share.

Yes, I know their is an "offical" star wars stickied thread. This is not about Episode III or the movies, just my collection.

Some of these are pretty blurry. Either I dont know how to take close ups or the camera, Canon Powershot A40, takes crappy close ups.

I also dont plan on selling any of these. Although I wouldn't mind knowing their worth.

Books, audio tapes, and a figure case The tag on the right one says one dollar! What a deal! Like the "Star World" generic case? I see rip offs of Vader, Chewie, r2-d2, c-3po...

Millennium Falcon Its old and discolored but I still love it!

Millennium Falcon 2

Millennium Falcon 3

The Trap Door is On

Quick Hide in Here!

Case Open

Laid Out

Vader, Luke, and Yoda

Storm Trooper, Obi-Wan, Anakin

Vader. Chewie, Trooper

EWOKS!!!

R2-D2, C-3PO, and Han Solo

I can take a (blurry) close up of a character if you want.

Hope you enojy! :D

I used to have some of those figures when I was a kid too, but don't know where they are now...

I particular like the stormtrooper and R2-D2... I wanted to buy one of the new R2-D2 they have in stores now, but it just looks ugly compared to the old ones...

About 5 years ago when we were moving my Mother from a house to her new Condo I uncovered a treasure trove of toys from my childhood in the cellar. Hot wheels cars, Matchbox cars, yo-yo's, Star Wars stuff, and GI Joe stuff. The Star Wars stuff had a brown land speeder which ran on wheels and had a compartment in the front that opened. I also had a few figures (Vader, Storm Trooper, Boba Fett). I was thinking about ebaying some of the stuff, but it was given away. I remember watching Star Wars at the theatre with my older sister when the movie came out in 77. I was about 12 at that time. I also remember drooling at all the Star Wars stuff in the Sears Catalogue - later on it was bewbies. By the time Return of the Jedi came out, I was in my early teens and too old to be playing with toys, so never collected those later figures.

Ok so why does my Star Wars thread from a few minutes ago get locked and crapped on - but others persist?

I have the original Millenium Falcon toy - it is freaking huge. I've got a couple of Tie-Fighters as well. :)

I don't know but the mods tagged the Lima vs. Yoda thread as well :Q so tread lightly and be cautious.. or just use the force to cloud their minds!

I've never understood locking threads where people talk about popular things? OMG people are talking! - it is a forum after all. It seems logical that the public would talk about what is popular? I mean there are a dozen OMG Angelina Jolie vs a wookie threads - but we can't have serious discourse on Star Wars?

I know there is an 'offical thread' but it royally sucks having to wade through a 1000 other posts - and forums suck at really long threads. There is a reason the average thread has 20-30 posts usually.

Yeah I also have a ton of star wars figures and vehicles. Last count had 240+ original figures from the late 70's early 80's, and around 50+ vehicles. They have been in storage at my parents house since I moved out about 10 years ago, and I plan on keeping them safe as long as humanly possible.

Did you pee on the Millennium Falcon?[/quote]

I thought it was a futuristic chamber pot late one night. It really does look like I did but its just aging. I should have stored it better, been in my closet probably more than 10 years. I had to dust it off with an air compressor!

I asked about the books in the offical thread and didnt get an anwser yet, Ill just quote myself from it:

How much further do the books take the story in terms of timeline and plot? Are they all written by the same person? Any good?

I looked at ebay out of curiosity and they dont seem to go for much, unless you have the entire set or somthing very rare. People want a lot for their SW stuff. Probably 100 things asking over 1k with only 10 bids on all of them. Highest one is a Star Wars Hummer for 500k! And its a car, not from Carrie Fisher. This one is much cooler IMO.

i remember someone here posted a video of him and his friend or something playing with the action figures. One of the luke action figures was steve irwin. Lando was some mexican dude named poncho something. Yoda was some Jerry Springer type talkshow host.

When it first starts, they use their own voices for the sound effects and background music. It was pretty damn hilarious.

Lemme see if i can find it...
