Offline GPS in Lenovo A850 Smartphone

hello,
I Purchased Lenovo A850 Mobile only for its offline GPS feature, but I dont no how to use it without data connection. on lenovo site they highlited this offline GPS feature but there is no guide for it. please help me. I am new user of smartphone,

The offline GPS feature you read about most likely is referring to the fact that the GPS radio on the phone works without needing any cellular or wifi data. This is the case for most modern smartphones.

To get actual GPS navigation without needing data you need to install an application that does this.

Google Maps requires data normally but it does have an option to cache an area while you're in a data connection and then be able to use that map info when you're offline. I have not used this function much at all so I can't say how reliable it is.

Another option is to install or purchase a 3rd party GPS navigation app that stores the mapping data on the phone from the Google Play store.
