The hyundais are really good actually now. Since you are putting so many miles on a car it would make sense to get a basic lower end car that does what you need for that. Then keep the tsx and use it for more normal driving.

you can get an altima 4 cylinder that gets like 28mpg for like $17k now too. The depreciation from putting a bunch of miles on that or a more expensive car would make it pointless to spend much more.
 
umm.. the mazdaspeed6 is a terrible choice.... it fails your automatic requirement 😛 I'm still torn on the top mounted intercooler for these new turbos... the intake for the CX7 seems to be even smaller than the mazdaspeed6. I really want to take one for a test drive, but I'm afraid i'll hand over the keys to my 3 and be in super debt.

look at a mazda6 v6. my mom should be picking one up today. Not a fan of the cloth material tho.. but it's what we'll be getting.
