The GTO is somewhere between 6800 and 6800GT.

Anyone ordered from Dell outlet in the last several hours? I have found some decent deals but can never checkout -- just get a Dell error page that says try later or contact us to order.

Anyone ever phone ordered from Dell Outlet?
You are seeing the error msg because your session times out after an hour or two. I always open a new browser session every hour to avoid the error. I think you can also click on your cart button then go back and try to add to your cart.

Dell outlet has a special phone number from what I understand but I don't have the number and think they may be closed on the weekend.

Nope, others got the same error. I got home around 5am (CST), and within a couple of minutes tried to order, and got the same error. Others on FW reported the same.
I got hit with the checkout error also. Grabbed a nice 6000 for $553 this morning and went all the way through the checkout process but when I hit submit order I received the error page. I tried going back and forth, refreshing screen, etc. but still got the error. I tried a bunch of times. I hope Dell doesn't charge me for each submit click.

I've picked up 2 4700's this afternoon, both <250 each, both with dvd burners, one with xp pro.

I've seen a bunch less than 200, but the scripters are getting them. 🙁

dude 8400 less than 200? WTF me want! i dont care if it has no RAM or a sh!tty 40GB HDD and 48x CDROM

edit: oh nm i didnt read. 4700's. 😀

Not bad. I did well with 4700's on ebay.

OK, sombody with an open 8400 help me out here. On the back of the case there is a trim strip that runs around silver metal. Does it go all the way around or not ?. This is the second system I got where the part that would be on the lock side is missing. There are small holes like it would snap on and complete the trim but it's not there. On my 4300 it goes all the way around.

I know, it's a minor point but now I'm wondering.

the xps are just beauties. i have both a 8400 and XPS, the XPS has a high powered workstation 450w PSU , better airflow, basically a very very nice case with a LOT more room to expand (one extra PCI, 3 5.25", 3 3.5" drive bays) basically it is a precision workstation made as a gaming desktop

then again sigpop you might be right the XPS arent selling as hot as I expected them to be...

WTF??????

Look at this stuff

That's $124. Is there a new coupon?

It WAS 50 off that 124, for whoever bought it. No coupon, just on sale.

I just picked up SIX 4700's, all fairly nice, average 300 each after tax, couple had a gig of ram. That was after missing 10 that were cheaper, starting at $64.

Edit: Make it 8, and I'm going back to bed 🙂

Whewwww, gonna have a hell of a lot of 4700's on Ebay next week.

I'd say this is as good as the 750 off 1499 deal, as I got a bigger HDD, XP Pro, better video card, and cdrw/dvd. But then again, it is refurbished, but still...I'm happy 🙂

what coupon i didnt get no coupon

I got the coupon because I'm on their email list.

Haha, I love that username.

I'm a little apprehensive about buying from the Outlet during this month; this is the one month during their quarter where new systems are typically less expensive than refurbs. Although if you grab a sub-$100 4700, I would buy that in a heartbeat.
