I'm not gonna fall to the level or Red Sox fans and talk sh*t while their team is down. Ahh, screw it - Red Sox are closer to Tampa Bay than to Yanks. WHUAHAHAHAHAHAHHA.

The Sux defense sure looked awful last night. Now it's time to see if Lieber can come up big.

We just have to score more runs than they do.

Hey, put it this way; Vazquez-Lowe, the advantage oviously goes to Vazquez, especially when the defense behind Lowe isn't having a good night. Today, we have Wakfield-Lieber... I would say advantage Wakefield. Both pitchers have struggled of late, but for a knuckleballer that can change quickly. Lieber has had problems, apparently, with his mechanics, and that can be hard to fix. Tomorrow, it's Martinez-Halsey. ;) No comment.

Redsux are such a classless team.

Pedro and Ramirez speak for themselves. Look at their fans as well.

Manny has cleaned it up this season... Where have you been? I find Pedro funny (except for the incident with Posada, but hey, that kind of stuff happens relatively often, and in this instance it was blown way out of proportion). And fans... Well, Yankee fans are just as bad, believe me.

Which Manny??? The guy that stared at opposing dugout for 5 seconds after hitting a home run earlier this season? Where have YOU been?

Manny has no heart in the game.
He doesn't even give the effort to run. His job is to play baseball and he's getting paid millions to do so.
Look at Arod. He gives his effort even when he pops a fly ball.

He really has. I must have missed that HR... I initially thought you were talking about the one last season against the A's, and in that case he was looking at his own team's dugout.

See the above link. He has done alot more of that kind of stuff of late. He doesn't always run his hardest on every obvious out, but myself, I really don't care.

Manny may be more blatant about it and get more press about it since he's such an as**ole, but a lot of players are like that. It became very apparent to me when observing Hideki Matsui last year (and a lot of Japanese players for that matter; it seems a cultural thing). Running hard and giving every play your best really adds up to a lot.

He's a great hitter but he lacks effort.
He's on a 160 mill contract according to that article. Gives some god damn effort and earn your money.
So many people will kill to be in his position. Show some class and effort.

That seems to be the general opinion, but I haven't seen it as much this year. Honestly, the first time I saw him not run hard on a PU/GB this year (I haven't seen all the games, but I have seen most) was last night's Yanks game, where they made a point of it by aiming the camera at him.

I won't badmouth Pedro or Manny, these are some of the best players in the game today (and they may be on my team next year!) ;)
