Izzo is one of the best coaches in college... hell maybe even the best coach in any sport... didnt he want to coach the football team at one point too? He is one of the best coaches... he teaches the fundamentals... all you need in basketball is the ability run everything perfectly and you will win... and you see that with them

Great game by MSU, looks like they'll be the favorite to win the tourney after this game. Uconn totally fucked themselves time after time in this game. Way too many turn overs.

MSU all the way!

Their defense is possibly even better than their ability to run their offense. Lightning quick hands whenever uconn shooters get inside and blanketing them outside the arc. GREAT team defense.

Its unbelievable how fundamentally sound MSU is, particularly against this level of competition.

That's a great coach.

Next year I'm just going to have my wife do my bracket. She filled out a bracket for the first time this year, she knows nothing about college basketball. Her final four? Uconn, Michigan St, UNC, Pitt. So 3 out of 4. Her final 2? Michigan St and UNC. She may end up getting both final teams correct. She has UNC winning.

Um, Bob Knight > Izzo. IMO, of course.

IN... IN... as in CURRENTLY...

and dont think i dont hold Bobby in the highest regard in terms of a coach... many thought he was a mentalist, but he knew HOW to energize a team, he also knew how to control a team.

it wasnt really a charge... it was much more of a flop with minimal contact, and the shooter was still in control of his body, and actually moved around a bit to not create a charge

one thing i would also like to point out, when they were introduced, MSU had a look on them of focus and determination... Uconn had a look on them like they had already won the game...

'Nova's D not looking good early on... if they can't slow the Tarheels, it's going to be a tough night for the Big East.

Too many future NBA players starting for UNC, which makes it very tough to beat them. No question imo Lawson, Ellington, Hansbrough, and Green will get drafted. I don't know about Deon Thompson, but either case he's not exactly a slouch either.

our office pool is tied going into tonight's championship game, with both players picking UNC to win. Both players have also picked the exact same championship game total score, 140.

any suggestions for a 2nd tiebreaker?

I would say split the winnings. It's the only fair thing at this point unless you agreed to another tiebreaker before any brackets were submitted
