Pretty much. Supposed to fix some of the compatibility issues that the 1080p had with a certain set of TVs (*cough*SONY*cough*).

I sure hope this new update fixes my freezing problems. Ever since I got the fall update, my 360 freezes within 10 minutes of use without fail even if I'm just tooling around in the dashboard. I finally called microsoft about it yesterday, but it's a 140 bucks to fix, plus it takes a week or two. Oh well, I've got my fingers crossed.

Here is some good news for those who play Madden:

After months of anticipation, the alternate jerseys for Madden 07 will be made available on Thursday November 30th on the Xbox Live Marketplace. In what come as a surprise to many, the jerseys will be absolutely free to download.

EA sent along three screens as examples along with the full list of what will be available to everyone.

· AFC East Throwback Uniforms: Throwback uniforms for the Bills, Jets & Patriots; alternate uniform for the Dolphins.

Free is a HUGE shock from EA....... but I doubt this will be a common trend.

In GoW if you join a game that is already in progress, sometimes you can't speak to people in the room.
In R6 last night I was only able to hear 2 people in a server of 14 people. And from talking to others online it has happened to others as well.

Not sure about GoW, but RS:V is just buggy as all hell. Sometimes after rappeling up a wall in multi, I'll see the players moving around like they're still rappeling. Game has crashed/frozen up on me multiple times, the talking thing too. Much as I love the game, they really need to get some of their sh!t fixed. :|

They should have been included on the cd. 2k sports has managed to do that for all their games for several years. I really like alternate uniforms, but there's no way I'd pay for them if they did charge.

I've been wondering that myself. I haven't seen any new video content put up on the marketplace at all yet. You'd think they'd be doing it on a weekly basis for this thing to really take off.

Yeah I know, it's been the same junk since it launched. I was hoping for MI3 by now. I figured maybe not superman since the company who made it would rather you buy it, but MI3 has been out for a month now

I'm waiting on lower prices before I rent movies. I'd rather drive up the street and rent one for $2.50 for 5 days rather than the $4 entry price on Live. Even the availability of HD rentals doesn't appeal to me at the current price, I just assume put that $6 towards the purchase of an HD-DVD.

Thanks man. 😀 You were just as much part of that beatdown of jimbofat's team as I was..it was great! I love joining up against obviously stacked teams and beating them. Did that to a few clans yesterday and they ended up kicking almost all of us out because they wanted to rank up...

Those guys were pretty good but predictable 🙂

It was great playing with you finally, we definitely need to do it again. It's nice to play with guys that know teamwork and just don't run around the map aimlessly. I am really loving this game, hopefully they will fix the bugs soon!

hey i was just wondering if anyone has any problems with tony hawk- project 8. when i try to load the career i saved , i can see the file, but it won't load for some reason. anyone ever have a problem like that or a fix for that?

Yea definitely. I had played w/ jimbo on his team on the Dam before, so I knew how he and the rest of those guys played the map...made it easier IMO. But yea, they need to fix some of these bugs - the roomie and I played Terrorist Hunt for hours all weekend, the game kept freezing up at random points. 🙁

But yea, we'll have to play again. I'll probably be on tonight if you're up for it 🙂 BTW - was your mic on? I couldn't hear you last night.
