Yea, it does take forever. Got my warrior up to lv 16 now. Game is ok so far but will keep me busy till the next batch of games.

Also rumor control has it we may be seeing a Demo of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter possibly around 2/10.

Do you think this is this worth the cost of the OXM magazine to try out?

Actually not sure if the Demo will be on the OXM disc or over live, but the 25 subscription cost for a year with the magazine and demos is well worth imho. The 2 bucks or so a month is worth it.

One of the issues I am having with this game is that while I'm really trying to get into this game it is frustrating going from controller to keyboard and back. While I plan on continuing to play untill the next batch of games to be released I'm not sure I could play much more after that. The game is fun and interesting but the lack of voice options is killer atm. I find myself partying quite less then I would normally for any MMORPG (and I have played quite a few in my day) and I know eventually I will be dependent on parties. I hope MS can and will make a party chat option that would allow for better overall gameplay.

Agreed. I ususally just private chat with one member of the party, but thats not good enough.

Hmmm. I wonder if a wireless USB keyboard will work with the 360. I've got my 360 situated in a spot in my entertainment center (in a bay above the TV) where having anything wired would just be a giant PITA.

I want to give this game a try just to see what it is like but don't want it to be a PITA to do so.

Well, I have the Logitech G15 USB keyboard and the 360 doesn't recognize it. Maybe it has to be a standard USB keyboard though.

Yep, having a 802.11a network would be nice if someone bothered to sell the 802.11a routers cheap. They are twice the cost or more than 802.11g routers.
 
Finally got to play the Fight Night demo and it's awesome. Totally picking that game up next month. Just curious, is it just me, or is there no force-feedback in the demo? It would really add to the feel so I can't wait to try the final build with it
 
Man just picked up Gun. Pretty good game thus far not sure why I didn't pick it up earlier. Also on an earlier question I do use a wireless usb keyboard for FFXI but not sure if they all work.

Yeah, Gun's not a bad game at all. Some of the best voice acting I've heard in a game.

But the graphics are pretty bad. Looks just like an Xbox game (only upconverted to 720p).

Yea the graphics are pretty sad especially compared to some of the other release games but good gameplay overall.

better graphics doesnt mean more fun, its the exact same thing but with added sprinkles on top. It's the actual GAMEPLAY that counts. I'm too used to seeing the same old analog controllers with the dualshock bazzilion incorporated into it or those huge @ss microsoft controllers. If theres a company that can stand out of the likes of Microsoft and Sony, I'd be on that wagon in no time😉
